What is it ?
QEMU is a generic and open source machine
emulator and virtualizer.
How to use it ?
You can download the .rpm or the sources from the download section.
Then you can try a disk image from OSZoo.
If you want to build it from source, you must download qemu-0.9.1. Then apply following patches: qemu-pre-TCG.patch, qemu-aix.patch. To compile it, you need gcc-4.2.0 for AIX from AIX toolbox, and SDL from the download section.
